Big job day

Monday sees the start of full scale decorating and carpeting. I am not looking forward to it in the slightest, we packed up Will’s room and most of the living room today, including taking the curtains to the dry cleaners- turns out 15 years is a touch too long between cleans, they were revolting! Then the supermarket after which I retired for a restorative nap then managed to pour some gin over sloes.

All weekend jobs done now so tomorrow I can do exactly as I please. It may involve more napping.
