Tonight was my mums retirement dinner from the business that has been such a massive part of her and my dad’s life. It’s all ended up very well and tonight was a lovely evening to celebrate. They bought her a fabulously engraved golden carriage clock, in celebration of all her years of proof reading their terrible words and punctuation. Top evening, also a milestone at home where Daisy went to work so Will was home alone all evening. He is in his bed now, either dead or asleep - we will find out in the morning.
