Off we go

A really, really early start and both Mr C and I didn’t sleep well and were up an hour before the alarm was due to go off at 3am.

Breakfast at the airport and a lovely sunrise as we took off. I think we all dozed on and off during the flight and arrived in Tenerife about midday. Picked up our hired car at the airport and set off to our apartment. J & S have been here a few times so they know where they are going and shared the driving over the week.

A snack in the bar while our room was still being prepared and a trip to the supermarket to get some provisions for breakfast and some meats and cheeses for the evening. A chilled couple of hours before we headed out for dinner. We were told a half hour walk turned into over an hour and Mr C is not great on uneven ground with his ankle so struggled a little....we got the cab back! A lovely meal overlooking the sea.

Had to be a sunset in extras (I did take a few over the course of the week ;-D)))
