The Kent

As I've mentioned before, our office is right next to the River Kent. We're on the eastern outskirts of Kendal, so we all get to the office without having to go near Kendal's God-awful one-way system. It makes for a relaxed commute and a nice place to work in our large, airy, high ceilinged room that used to be part of K Shoes Factory. 

Although it's a scenic spot, it has to be said that the weather up here isn't always great. We have had a great summer, this year, for sure, but, as an office, we seem to have spent many hours* by the window watching the river rising in the rain.

Today wasn't like that, though: a beautiful autumnal day.

*Cumulatively over the years, not in one session :-)
