I say, What's Going on

This has been a weird couple of weeks. 

Work settled down, with a little HR Hiccup.  We aren't as busy as we were, and we have time to think. 

There have been losses; several people around me have lost people, and when I say lost, I mean dead.   But all you can see is the loss that has been left.   Three people in two weeks, and a much loved pet.  

one of the folk- a chap from my work; his loss was sudden and unexpected.   when he came back into the office, I shouted over - and he looked at me, and crumpled and walked through the door.   

My heart was broken, to see him so broken; and I didn't know what to do. 

I spoke to someone on here, and they said "hug him".     

So later on, I did.  

Hugs work miracles. 

As do kitten snuffles. 

This one is melting my heart with her winter need to snuggle close to us.
