Remembrance

I commend the manner in which local communities are choosing to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War 1.

While certainly not of an age to have lived through those years of strife, Armistice Day does provide the opportunity to remember our ancestors who did go to war, and maybe never returned.

I wear my poppy with pride each year, but this year I am especially encourage d by the displays of poppies everywhere I have been in the past few days, and especially on traffic roundabouts like this.
