" Marra" the Dolphin

This plaque is placed at Maryports harbour in remembrance of a Dolphin who was given the name Marra, ( for those who do not know' marra ' means mate/friend in west Cumbria ).This dolphin often visited Maryport and could be seen swimming in the Marina and the harbour.
