NCO 2018

Today was a really special day. Today was her first concert with the Northerlies orchestra of the National Children's Orchestras. They spent the day rehearsing in and then performing in the Royal Northern College of Music Concert Hall. It was such an amazing experience for her. She led them on to the stage and she had the biggest grin imaginable. She just looked like she loved the entire thing from start to finish. The repertoire was fantastic, the standard was incredible. I was blown away. I may have cried as she walked on looking so proud of herself.

Happy little girl tonight. Exhausted but happy. That didn't stop her calling B when we got in to tell her all about it. She went from lying on the floor looking sleepy to bouncing round to show her that she's decided to learn the fife.
