Slow News Day

A rather frustrating day at the office. Still settling in, but communication issues abound. However, after work I was set loose upon the night. Nights in Kigali bring about incredible change, a different type of busy to that which you find in the mornings. Everywhere smells of cooking - even on the mototaxi I could smell ginger from one house and beef cooking in the next - and people mix and mingle at the Chez Lando roundabout in Remera, where lie the local food shops, a bar or two, and various hubs for buses and mototaxis. Not sure this photo succeeds in conveying that, but I like it nonetheless.
