Wee Leach

Wee Leach was a ghostly, fairy-like figure that made his way to the top of Trinity Church spire, Oakshaw, Paisley. A local newspaper published an article in the 1820s and claimed a fairy-like figure could be seen perched on the top of the spire smoking his clay pipe. Only those with good eyesight could see him.

Outside on Church hill are markings with the shape of glasses in the pavement and it is thought if you put your feet inside you might catch a glimpse of 'Wee Leach' (I didn't).

Cold today but dry.
