Michaelmas daisy
We're a long way past Michaelmas and this daisy is still looking absolutely wonderful. It's growing quite near our back door and has provided a welcome splash of colour for the last six weeks. Interestingly the flowers start off quite a reddish-purple and then become bluer with age. They look so different that for a while I thought there were two different plants growing together! Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the variety so I can't buy any more.
The temperature has definitely dropped today and it's beginning to feel a lot like winter. I wasn't really tempted to go for a walk, but at least this gave me a chance to catch up on my emails.
