Walk Day
After a day at home yesterday to recover from the drive, it was time to introduce Luna to the surroundings. Had an hours walk, mainly in the forest and without a lead. She was exemplary - was usually 10-15 meters in front (typical Border behaviour) but constantly checked where Flash & I were and adjusted her speed accordingly. Never wandered from the track. Although she could do with lead training, I wanted her to freely enjoy the walk and as I knew we wouldn't meet anyone, it was without danger.
Learnt that Luna loves muck, dirt, mouse holes and as the farmers are busy spreading slurry before the winter ban starts on Saturday, we came home with a specially good odour!
When we got home she only wanted to continue playing but I have now fed her & she's at long last asleep!
