The Tale of a Tail

Special Blip for the Hawea Flat School.
Greetings to The Passion "How does it work" Group and the lovely Mrs M.

The dogs once held a meeting
They came from near and far,
Some of them by aeroplane
And some by motor car.

But before into the City Hall
Each was allowed to look
It had to take its tail off
And hang it on a hook.

And so they entered, one by one
Each mother's son and sire,
But not long were they seated
When some rascal shouted "Fire!!!"

They to the door in panic fled,
Not caring once to look
And each one grabbed a tail
Off any handy hook.

And that is why a dog today
Will leave a juicy bone
To go and sniff another dog's tail
To see if it's his own.
