Street Art, Puerto de la Cruz

We had some spectacular thunderstorms overnight and the weather hasn't really cleared all day, with lots of heavy rain showers this morning.

It didn't stop us wandering round the old town, however where I spotted the statue by the harbour. The area just beyond the harbour is also known for its murals, of which these are two. The one of the silhouettes is a detail of one which takes up the whole side of an apartment block.

This afternoon we've sat and read companionably onthe balcony as the weather has gradually cleared. Spotted a restaurant on our walk which we hope to visit tonight; we've really enjoyed the local dishes so far.
