The Crab Apple tree

Today was my day off and it was very wet.

Went for a wet walk to the old village as I wanted to have a look at this Crab apple tree after being given a tip off that it looked good just now. They were right and it is completely laden with small apples. Lots of birds were in the tree too including the first Fieldfares of the winter. 

An early blip as I am off to camera club tonight where we will hopefully choose some photos for a calendar. Not very sure how that's going to go but we shall see.
