Basildon Park

After a wet day yesterday, blue skies and sunshine greated us this morning so we took off to walk around the beautiful gardens of Basildon Park, a few miles away. It was a lovely day but very muddy and luckily I had my rain pants on because I slipped and fell in the mud a few times!!

Well so much for the sun, it disappeared after an hour or so and rain has been the order of the day, causing flooding all over I see, on watching the news! The Thames was high yesterday so must be much worse today, it's really lashed down.
