I picked these to put on the table as my friend Sarah was coming round for lunch. Cooked an aubergine curry and Sarah bought some very more-ish baked apples. Lots of good chat was enjoyed before she had to go back to work.

Michaelmas daisies always bring back memories of school as we had to wear them as a buttonhole on Founder's Day (at the end of September). Lots of rousing songs about Archangels :-)
