A Sunny Sunday in Seaford
We'd arranged to meet up with Kate and Martin today and fortunately the weather was great again, so we decided to meet in Seaford. We had a stroll to Splash Point and saw where the latest cliff fall was, and I don't think it'll be long before there's another - check out my extra and you can see where there's a rather large chunk of cliff that about to break off.
We wandered back to the beach cafe, and stopped to chat to a couple sat outside their beach hut, I spotted a sign that they had hanging inside that says 'Life is better at the beach', and I asked if they'd mind me taking their photo. They readily agreed and I said that I'd email them a copy.
We then sat and had coffee/tea/hot chocolate on the beach and completely lost track of the time, it was lovely just sat in the sun chatting - Alan and Martin have quite a lot of shared interests, so it was nice for them to meet up. We then went to the Seaford Museum which is in the Martello Tower and Marion was on duty, so it was nice to see her again.
After our visit to the museum, we went our separate ways and headed home and I've spent the rest of the afternoon/evening washing, ironing, tidying up, cooking the roast dinner and getting things ready for work tomorrow. I've been asked to swap shifts so I'm opening up the clinic at 8am so need to be up and out early! I really don't know where the time's gone and I need to head to bed.
Enjoy the rest of your evening and I'll catch you tomorrow.
