Blue sky day

I am beginning to think I won't want to go back home.
Autumn in France is especially beautiful with blue skies, heat and copper turning leaves.

We had planned to go out for a meal tonight - no where is close so necessitates a bit of a drive.  Quelle surprise when we reached our restaurant, Chez Julienne, and discovered it closes on Mercredi !!  With little food in the house, Eubers rescued our hunger plight by performing a 'Ready Steady Cook" meal from half a dozen eggs, some mushrooms, 4 wee potatoes and a piece of saucisson and cheese.  Delicious!

Note to selves.... check restaurants are actually open before setting off along the narrow roads of the French countryside.
