Across the green...

Across the 1st green of the R&A golf course, where I was standing this afternoon, my walk having been interrupted by mobile ringing in pocket, I noticed that odd things were going on over on the beach. Not really sure what. It was -4 degrees, and hurt to breathe, despite the blazing winter sunshine, but the West Sands was surprisingly busy.

Good news on the phone, by the way. The Daily Mail has claimed first dibs on publishing extracts of book, as an exclusive. Though the downside is that it means publication will be delayed till May.
