Taking it to the streets
We did the People’s Vote march today. The strap line was Bollocks to Brexit. Unbelievable experience. Beautiful day, amazing placards and slogans, terrific vibe. If you weren’t there you really missed something.
We did our bit. We were two of the 700,000 people or whatever the disputed final figure is. Lots of families, lots of young people, some great music, we were literally dancing in the streets at one point.
And all the leave lobby could muster this month was a few hundred fans in a less than diverse audience who were charged a fiver to hear Farage and Rees-Mogg talk their usual wank at hotels in Torquay and Harrogate. Says it all really.
Whatever happens we won today, and we’ll win the long game. Come what May (if you’ll pardon the pun).
After the march we went up to see The Yoga Mama for a catch up and a bite to eat in a place called Bob’s in Mill Hill East. One of the best vegan puddings I’ve ever eaten. Nice evening.
Great day.
