All Round Success

Because we couldn't really leave Lula today, Julia and I went on our own to Badajoz, mainly for her to buy a dress for a wedding she's going to, but I did want to see the more touristy side of it as well. It's not a touristy town; it's where the Portuguese go to shop, but I know there is an old part. 

Instead of a guidebook (my usual way), she took us to Plaza Alta, using her phone, and found us a good place to have lunch, washed down with sparkling water. The stuffed aubergine was delicious, the meatballs not so much. She also found a dress that looks wonderful on her.

Mike has almost finished the porch, and the vet has been to see Lula, who is doing fine.
