Monteviot Stables

E and I spent a couple of hours at the gardens of Monteviot House which neither of us had visited before, and we were lucky in having the place more or less to ourselves.

I've included several extra photos: a photo of the water garden, some autumn leaves, also Scott's View (with the Eildons in the distance) which we took a detour to visit before the gardens, also yet another view from the cottage with a cloudless sky.
