Bonnie Dundee

Down to St Andrews for a debating competition today - reached the final again but just missed out on bringing the trophy back to Aberdeen.

So, this is another Tay Rail bridge photo - this time looking back from it across to Dundee.

Walter Scott's poem, 'Bonnie Dundee' was actually about the Jacobite leader, John Graham, 7th Laird of Claverhouse, 1st Viscount Dundee, and the city hasn't had a great reputation for beauty over the years but the waterfront is being regenerated and it certainly looked attractive in the morning sun.
