Happy Thanksgiving

Stuffed and exhausted after our first Thanksgiving experience at the house of American neighbours. Quite liked the pumpkin pie shown here and glad that I have now tried it but not sure it was my favourite of all the dishes served. Of which there were many. You have to admire Americans for recovering before Christmas. Nice to have a warm-up turkey though.

Prior to the feasting the day was filled with much of the usual Saturday stuff of dancing and football and parties for the kids and food shopping and laundry and admin for me and Carl. Only new addition was swapping working for the torture chamber (aka Pilates) during Anna's dance class. I shall persist in the hope it is doing good but it is an act of faith as at the moment it feels like I am just breaking myself.
