Oslo

A friend of mine from high school is visiting Oslo for the weekend, so I took the train from Hamar to spend the day with her and get some much needed Ikea shopping done for our apartment, as there's no IKEA in Hamar for another few years they say.

We had a pretty good day, though it was overcast it didn't rain, so all in all pretty standard Norwegian weather. We walked around the downtown and did the touristy things, saw the high street, some early Christmas markets, the royal palace and did some window shopping. I took this picture of the parliament which I thought was nice. Missed going to the Viking museum again, but I'm sure I'll be back in Oslo sometime soon.
