Drop Doughnuts!

I made my first foray into deep fried cooking today, and didn't burn down the house! They were a bit doughy in the middle, so some room for improvement, but still sooo good, will be making again. Knud became my doughnut roller (cinnamon and sugar) and I did the deep frying. We switched and he burned all the ones that he made (in the background), so I think he'll be restricted to the rolling. Winter time is also when the traditional doughtnut wagons start popping up around Norway selling smultringer. Maybe we'll try to get some sort of device that can make rings....
