Impending Doom

We did the usual Tumbling routine today, stopped off for a cuppa at Grandma and Daddad's enroute as they are back up from down south. The Husband and I did a little shopping while the girls were busy at their class.

This afternoon was a bit chore filled...amazing how working on a Friday affects the routines so much. Normally weekends are mostly about having time together.

Tui, the black cat, managed to catch himself a baby mouse. He was so pleased with himself. He decided to keep it interesting by continuing to let it go, and then catching it. Anushka twigged to what was going on, and came over to play as well, except Tui decided that he didn't want her there, and became a little too nonchalant about the whole thing and the mouse escaped under the fence. I've got the mouse in this picture...it takes a little bit of finding, but I love the shadow of Tui in the front.
