TGIF

Worked this morning and got home just in time to scoff my lunch before school pick up. A group of us decided that as it was so nice, we'd meet a little later in the afternoon for happy hour at The Jolly. It's great there as there's a kind of village green where the kids can run feral, while the adults can have a lovely sedate Magners (or 2).

The Husband's commute is by ferry, so he joined us when he got off the ferry, and the other partners joined us too, one by one as they finished their working day. We had brought down 2 dogs with us, and the kids spent their time running around with them, or scootering, or playing Duck Duck Goose.

What I love is that it wasn't just the kids we arrived with that were the tribe, it was pretty much every child that joined in. A lovely happy huge crew.
