Gran Canaria

The title for this was nearly "Gran Canaria" has some of the ugliest architecture in Europe - discuss". That's probably unfair and not entirely true, but it's trying damned hard to win.

First night at sea passed without incident, though we haven't got our sea legs yet, felt like I was still moving on dry land.

Gorgeous morning, but cloud and drizzle this afternoon. The Altantic was kicking up a bit of a fuss, the clouds rolling and boiling.

Gradually getting to grips with the ship's layout - port, starboard, for, aft, midship, man overboard. I'm really hoping I can get to visit the bridge, that would be cool.
