Monday was easy… in many ways. It was good in some ways too. In others…
Work was work. For me, much of it was taken up with helping a community group in their efforts to have one of the local railway stations improved to bring it up to proper disability compliance. Lifts will have to be installed.
It is a classic situation where we can help, just by being a facility which they can use to research who takes decisions on this type of capital project and what the criteria are.
The morning was sunny and cold (4⁰c) so I cycled to and from work. That temperature - plus windchill as I whizzed down the hill - was an invigorating start to the work day.
(Note to self:- when it’s frosty and there are leaves on the ground, take your foot off the gas a wee bit. You’re not 16 any more.)
Word has filtered north of the First Minister making a big Brexit speech in London and creating a very positive impression. This was closely followed by news of more idiocy from the UK Government. May has been reduced to calling it an “act of faith” to carry on.
It was also interesting to see how the UK media reported the election results in Bavaria - purring with delight because the AfD made gains and “Merkel’s allies” had big losses. Not much said about Die Grünen.
The Blip is just Fife College in the sun - yes, again. Less leaves on the trees every time I Blip it.
