Fun and Games!

Its been a very wet day and we got soaked on our morning dog walk, but it was quite pleasant in a very damp and invigorating kind of way!  We've since been inside for the most-part and to keep Merlin entertained we played the 'egg cup and the biscuit game'.  We hide a treat under one of the egg cups and let Merlin see which one it is under and also that is nothing under the others. We then move the egg cups around and see if he can remember which egg cup the biscuit is under.  He is very good at it and loves playing it. I am not sure who concentrates harder - the dog or Andy!  

Aside from games, I've made cauliflower and broccoli soup and hummus for lunch, and rock cakes for 'afternoon tea'.  Then it was another venture out into the weather - now dry but windy from the north-west so feeling much cooler than of late.   I think it will be an evening of warm food and keeping cosy.  Wishing you all well.
