Mining monument.....

A wet day . Once cattle were fed spent various parts of the day playing at Dad’s taxi for Junior.
Spotted this coal mining tribute on one of my journeys . Was quite impressive with the carved figures between the 2 seams of rock held up by pit props. Think I definitely prefer working on the land to under it !
