A damp start turning to wet and windy later.
Managed to shovel the top of the last grain bin to get some more in to it. Getting too old for all this climbing ladders and shovelling lark !
Spent the rest of the day spreading slurry down the road.The extra horsepower certainly made a difference going up the steep hill at Gorebridge. The touch screen on the fancy demo tractor can record lots of details but maybe ignorance is bliss. Using 9.4 litres of diesel per load on a round trip of 10.4 miles and taking 45 minutes . So now you know !
Mr M and his crew were busy laying 60 tons of type 1 hardcore on the driveway . Might need another 20 tons yet. Scared to think what it’s all costing , but cheaper than a divorce !
