Code-A-Pillar

Digifest2018 is on at the Engine Shed 8-20 October. It's a festival about digital innovation in heritage. There was so much going on when we called in this morning with our niece and 10 year old great nephew who arrived safely from Netherlands yesterday. Code-A-Pillar allows children to to create a basic computer code and set the electronic caterpillar off on a journey. What really captured L's imagination though was the Stickbot Studio which allowed him to make an animation from still photographs. We downloaded the app and came home to set up a studio here using the Playmobil people and he shot a 3 second film of them coming to grief by falling off the swings etc. Amazing!

My blip was taken with my phone camera so it could have been sharper but having forgotten to take the proper camera with me I wasn't going to battle home through the torrential rain to fetch it.
