Rain

The water forecast is dire but so far we have escaped the promised gales. It is very wet though pretty mild. I couldn't face taking the camera outside so this is the rain splashing and puddling just by the back door. I'll not be sweeping those leaves up in a hurry.

My niece and great nephew are on their way to visit us for the weekend. They left a sunny 25 degrees in Maastricht to make their way to Edinburgh where I'll pick them up in a couple of hours. We don't see them nearly often enough so I'm very excited that they are coming over.

I've been cooking for an army all morning as the Scottish cousins will be visiting too. There won't be time for blip once they're all here.
