Bonnyfield

Lots of houseworky things to do today. As one of them involved a trip to the shops I made a detour on my return journey to have a walk round Bonnyfield Local Nature Reserve in Bonnybridge.

This was my first visit since three new entrance arches were installed a few weeks ago. These arches each have a slightly different design, in respect of the animals, birds and insects depicted in the wrought iron-work.

Not long after I took some photos of the first arch I visited, the heavens opened and, although I passed the other two on the way back to my car, I wasn't particularly inclined to stop and photograph them given the conditions. They may make an appearance in future blips!
