Sweet Potatoes!!

When I was in our local feed store back in July, I noticed that they still had some sweet potato slips available. They were wilting a lot and drying out, but I figured I should at least try to grow some, I didn't want to wait another whole year. So I basically shoved them in my wood chips and just let them do their thing (I barely even watered them ... the amount of rain we got surely should have been more than enough!). I pulled them up on the first semi-dry day I could (though the sun was brighter than I'd have liked). All said and done, I had 29+ lbs! Now to cure them and taste them :D  (hopefully I will get to my white potatoes this weekend ...)
