I've discovered that it's very difficult to photograph an adjustable bed in a raised position and actually make it look that way.  But here is the new bed, which arrived this afternoon, and which is wearing the new sheets.  Of course, now I have two recliners in my living room, which barely has room for one.  I'll have to figure out how to get rid of the old one.

So I raised the head of the bed to full upright, and lay down,  lowering the head slowly and smoothly - and I got dizzy.  I'm not sure what the solution is, although I'm going to try lowering it a little bit at a time and resting in between.  So keep your fingers crossed for me.  I'm not sure when the vertigo evaluation will take place, as the University of Washington medical records office has yet to respond to three requests.

The painting by the bed was done by my sister Lex, formerly known as Endless Weekend, as a gift when I moved into this apartment 11 years ago.  I love her work.
