Nearsighted.

Okay, I took the easy way out.

Even though it's cold, windy and wet, I was planning to suit up, brave the elements and go on a leisurely blip-quest, unrestrained by work or other obligations that take up the daylight hours, honest I was. Today, I might add, is one of America's favorite psuedo-holidays, "black Friday", the biggest shopping day of the year. I could brave the weather, but the thought of going out at all in the face of such a shopping frenzy was grim, even though I wasn't planning to take pictures in a store. When Lizzie plunked herself down in front of the book I was reading with my morning tea, I caved in and grabbed the camera.

I will follow through with my original plan tomorrow, but for now I'm going to brew another pot of tea, boot Lizzie out of the way and continue reading.
