Safe arrival

The journey was uneventful until the very end.  I missed the motorway junction for Perpignan and had to drive on another 10 miles to the next but this exit was just before the toll barriers and easy to miss. Once I had paid the toll I couldn't take the exit so ended up actually having to drive into Spain to the next one!  The sign posts for some inexplicable reason took us back through the border town of le Perthus which is always packed with duty free shoppers. We crawled back to our correct turn off and the whole adventure added an hour to the journey.  All that will quickly be forgotten as I unpack and have a quiet evening relaxing with something anodyne on the television.
