Crystal Clear

Hearing you loud and clear......Over.......
Apparently our hearing deteriorates from the age of 30 so I t’s a miracle that His Lordship and I hear anything at all.
However, this is all going to change for HL with his new hearing aids. We collected them this afternoon and while he can hear better, he finds them tricky to put in and also mentioned that they were bigger than expected. I fear he has been looking at those costing a few thousand pounds while he has the sturdy NHS ones. Still, the television will have to be much less loud and I might not have to shout to be heard. This is all good.

Neither of us is a fan of hospital departments dealing mostly with the aged. It is so depressing to sit amongst your peers when you don’t feel you belong even if they think otherwise. Ageing is not for wimps....... did you hear that?
