Care

We harvested a part of our apple tree. Some of the apples were just classic beauties. Holding the apple in two hands like this seemed beautiful to  me.
Hands are amazing 'things'. Not only can they hold, caress, care , but they can also do the opposite. They can beat and even kill. They can work till the nails split and they can be idle, being pampered by a professional.

Our harvest should probably be done a little faster. The bear who is roaming around our lots , has helped a bit during our absence in the last 5 days. As a 'thank you' for the apples he left a substantial poop on our lawn.
To know him (or her) so close makes me feel uncomfortable, especially at night, when I have to let out the dog.
