I don't know what the weather's like where you are, but it's been blowing a gale here today. I've seen a few branches down and one tree, hopefully there'll be no more damage in the morning.

I popped into town to pay in my son's birthday cheques, not realising that there was a rehearsal for a state visit taking place today. The Queen is having 'The Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al Jaber Al-Sabah' over for tea next week. I didn't hang around for the rehearsal, but there were two military bands playing for the people waiting and various Sergeant Majors shouting orders to the troops lining the street.
