Fishing on the Canal

We walked along this stretch of the Grand Union this afternoon. This scene is at Great Linford a few miles along the canal from where we live. It’s quite close to the “Newport Nobby” (or Railway Walk) which is part of one of our cycle routes. It’s been closed for several months for repairs to the bridge I was standing on when I took this shot. We came here today to see if the repairs were finished and the cycle route was open again. It was :-)))
