Bayeux: GRAND HOTEL ' D' ARGOUGES '

A half-timbered town house of the 15th century, now a hotel.  

Fortunately this ancient town suffered no damage during the 1944 landings; it was captured by British troops the day after the landing.

It is very difficult to photograph this building adequately.  It is close to the Bayeux town centre, where the road is very narrow.
