Coming to the end.

My hostas have done well this year.
Not as many holes,because the dry weather has meant less snails and slugs in the garden.
However they are now changing colour, and soon will die back completely.

Today, although dull was quite warm.
I bought a new black cartridge, and hey ho the printer is working again.

Also bought more sunflower hearts. We have now a flock of up to 30 goldfinches visiting the feeders. They line up on the telephone wire, and take it in turns to swoop down. Many are now eating the leftovers which are falling on the floor. Much as I love these birds, feeding them is becoming quite expensive!
