A Classic Autumn Day

This is the lake at the bottom of our hill. I'd clambered through the bushes to get right out to the shore and found this slightly new viewpoint. The sunlight was hazy, almost to the point of there not being any sun, and the lake surface was completely undisturbed. A lovely sight that would have gone unseen if we hadn't gone out for a cycle trip.
We are so lucky to live in such a nice place!
