The Clyde Valley

Taken from the top of the Gleniffer Braes above my home town of Paisley. My parents would walk up here on a Sunday afternoon when courting and when we returned from the coast at night after days out to Troon, Prestwick or Ayr, we would crest this ridge and see the whole valley sparkling below . . . it was our very own LA!

We took a spin up in the car from Largs to visit some old haunts with my mum, including Thornley Park and Peesweep Scouting Centre on top of the braes.
