Spirit Island

After our fraught evening we had an early breakfast before setting off to Maligne Lake for a boat trip to Spirit Island. Photography wise conditions were testing...especially for a mere beginner...so no picture postcard shots! The setting was beautiful though and as the numbers landing were controlled it was possible to appreciate the beauty and ambience of the place.

Extras today are from our roadside stops and a walk around Jasper while waiting to check in to that evenings accommodation.
